The Aberdare National Park is known for its picturesque steep wooded ravines and wide moorland. Elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalos, warthogs, and bushbucks are among the animals that call the park home. The Giant Forest Hog, bongo, golden cat, serval cat, African wild cat, African civet cat, and blue duiker are all rare occurrences. Picnics, river trout fishing, and moorland camping are all available to visitors. With over 250 kinds of birds in the park, including the Jackson’s Francolin, Sparrow hawks, goshawks, eagles, sunbirds, and plovers, bird watching is a wonderful experience.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi-Amboseli National Park
Depart Nairobi in the morning at 7:30 am and drive via Namanga on the Kenya and Tanzania border to arrive for lunch at the camp or lodge, After lunch leaves the camp/lodge for full afternoon game driving in Amboseli National park seeing game wildlife with mount Kilimanjaro at the backdrop until late afternoon to return to the lodge.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park
Full day of game viewing in Amboseli National Park. Amboseli National Park is located at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. The snows of the mountain form a majestic backdrop to one of Kenya’s most popular spectacular displays of wildlife – lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo, and host of plains game, creating Kenya’s most sought-after photographer’s paradise.

Day 3 : Amboseli National Park-Aberdares National Park
After breakfast, depart for Aberdares National Park this park has its uniqueness too, bongo antelopes are the only antelopes in the entire park, the park is also known for its unique vegetation, arrival is in time for lunch at the out-span hotel and base hotel for accommodation at the treetops lodge. After lunch you will be transferred to the treetops lodge for your accommodation and to watch wildlife at the flood-lit Saltlick Water hole at the Treetops Lodge. Dinner and overnight at The Treetops Lodge which is structured on the top of the tree as the name suggests.

Day 4: Aberdares National Park-Lake Nakuru National Park
After morning breakfast, your safari will head to Lake Nakuru National Park. Situated just a stone’s throw from Nakuru town, the attractive Lake Nakuru National Park surrounds the Lake of the same name, which is a haven for the pink lesser flamingo as well as hippos. Other species include various antelope, giraffe, zebra, lion, rhino, and leopard (which can actually be spotted during daylight hours in the arms of the giant yellow acacia trees near the entrance). Enjoy the great view from the park’s rocky escarpments and ridges. Accommodation can be at the lodge or a hotel in Nakuru.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru-Lake Naivasha National Park
After breakfast, leave the hotel for a drive to Lake Naivasha National park, on arrival a visit to Hell’s Gate Park [one of the few parks where you can walk or cycle to see the wild animals]. Packed lunch will be served in the park or at a hotel. There is a Geothermal power station and very beautiful scenery, dinner, and overnight at the lodge or a hotel.

Day 6: Lake Naivasha–Maasai Mara game reserve

Have your breakfast and drive via Narok town then to Masai Mara for lunch at the camp. After lunch proceeds for an afternoon game drive in Masai Mara game reserve famous for its black manned lion and yearly migrations of wildebeests from Serengeti in Tanzania to Masai Mara in Kenya.

Day 7: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Have your breakfast then leave the camp for a whole day game drive in the park where you will not only enjoy but also admire the great wildlife which inhibits this unique park, both the zebras and the wildebeests migrate from Serengeti in Tanzania to Kenya and vice versa, this migration takes place from July to October annually, as you admire the fantastic wildlife, have your picnic lunch just there at the Mara River, several other animals are also present eg, lions, giraffes, antelopes, gazelles, oryx, you name it.

Day 8: Masai Mara Game Reserve
Early Morning game viewing in the Mara with an optional nature walk or a visit to a nearby Masai village in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 9: Masai Mara Game Reserve-Nairobi
Wake up for the early morning game drive to see the animals at their early morning sunbathing for this is the best time to do so, be back to the camp for late breakfast followed by the departure to Nairobi, on your way back, stop periodically for breathtaking and photos for the remembrance, your lunch will be served en route where your arrival in Nairobi will be in the afternoon, end your journey in Nairobi with the sweetest memories ever to share with others.
