Many Lions, Cheetahs, Elephants, Rhinos, African Buffaloes, Wildebeest, Giraffes, Zebras, and other creatures may be seen in the park in their natural environment, free to wander the wide wilderness.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi- Masai Mara
Our safari guide will pick you from your hotel or the airport at 7:00 am and depart by road driving through the rich Kikuyu farmlands to the edge of the Rift Valley. Descend the escarpment and drive via Narok to Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving on time for lunch at the Mara Sopa Lodge. The Masai Mara is classic African Savannah, and the sheer density of wildlife is amazing. Masai Mara is famous for its Black Manned Lion and yearly migrations of Wildebeest and Zebra, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino, Gazelle, Leopards, Giraffe are also found here. Afternoon game drive. Day 2: Masai Mara
After breakfast, you will go for a full day spent viewing and exploring this spectacular game reserve. Wherever you go in the Mara, you will see an astonishing amount of wildlife. One of the big cats, lions are found in large prides everywhere. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but are still fairly common. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve under a tree or on the banks of the famous Mara River. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, depart Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park, should you be interested, you can pass by a Masai village to learn their culture. On arrival check in at Lake Nakuru Lodge and have lunch. Short nap will be followed by an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is famous for its pink Flamingos although the number of flamingos has reduced significantly due to the rising water level, lots of other species of birds are present. There are rare species of animals the white rhino and Rothchild giraffe among a wide variety of game.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Samburu Game Reserve
Have an early breakfast and enjoy a morning game drive as you depart Lake Nakuru. Proceeding to Samburu game reserve on the fringes of the semi-arid northern frontier district of Kenya. Picnic lunch will be served along the way. The scenic Nakuru – Nyahururu road passes through the hub of Kenya’s food basket and insight into the living situation of the local population is visible. Arrive at Samburu in the late afternoon. Enjoy your late afternoon game drive and later retire to your lodge for check-in, dinner, and overnight.

Day 5: Samburu Game Reserve
The whole day was spent in the Samburu game reserve. The arid conditions have provided a habitat for distinct animal survival. Here we find animals resident to this park only like reticulated Giraffe, the Grevy zebra, the Generuk, Somali ostrich, lion, elephants, cheetah, buffalo, and crocodiles at the Ewaso Nyiro river which is the lifeline of the Samburu game reserve. Other species of game are also found. All meal and overnight in your lodge.

Day 6: Samburu – Nairobi
Early morning game drive and later come back to the lodge for breakfast. An optional game drive before the return journey to Nairobi with lunch en-route. After lunch takes a leisurely drive admiring tea, coffee, sisal, and pineapple plantations to arrive in Nairobi in the early evening. Drop off at your resident hotel or airport

    It was really great trip, thank you so much for patience – Darren loved it and keen to go back 🙂
    We had 3 elephants round the car in Samburu – the guide was even taking selfies – and a close encounter with mating lions.
